What can I say that hasn't already been said about Poodle mixes. There have been hundreds of articles written about Poodle mixes. Any smart person can do the research and see that these mixed breeds are not hybrids and they are still affected by hereditary health disorders. A smart person can also find that few mixed breed breeders actually can sell these mutts for a lot of money. Unfortunately, most people breed mixes thinking they can make some quick cash but find it to be untrue, resulting in hundreds of poodle mixes in shelters and rescue organizations.

FAQ's:

• Is the Designer dog a breed? No. It is, simply put, a mutt.
• Are Poodle mixes healthier than pure-breds? Not true. They are as healthy as their genetic makeup will allow them to be. If they carry hereditary disorders in their genes then they will be affected by those disorders. Mixing two breeds cannot obliterate what both parents carry.
• Are Poodle mixes hypoallergenic? Not true. They now carry the same dander genes as their other breed parent so they will affect allergy sufferers.
• Will Poodle mixes shed? Yes. All breeds shed. Poodles shed in a different manner but with the new genetic makeup provided by their other breed parent, they will shed more.
